Steve Wood is the main antagonist of Dead to Me. He is an attorney and the ex-fiancé of Judy Hale.

Steve Wood became involved in the Greek Mafia, which involved Chief of Police Howard Hastings. He was also involved in a series of illegal money laundering events.

Jen and Judy bury his body in the woods located outside the main town area.

It is revealed that Ben could hallucinate him. Also his cause of death is revealed to be drowning.
